Workshop Management and Planning
Workshop Management and Planning is a practical and competency-based course designed to equip trainees with essential knowledge and hands-on skills required to organize, control, and maintain an efficient workshop environment. The course focuses on proper planning of resources, enforcing safety standards, coordinating workflow, supervising personnel, and ensuring effective use of tools, equipment, and materials.
Learners will explore key principles of workshop layout, scheduling, inventory management, hazard identification, record-keeping, and maintenance planning. Through demonstrations, simulations, case studies, and practical exercises, trainees will be exposed to real-world workshop situations that encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Upon completion, trainees should be able to confidently apply workshop management and planning principles to promote productivity, safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement in their workplace.
